Caserta is home to one of the most beautiful treasures of Italy, the Reggia di Caserta, nicknamed the Neapoletan Versailles. The Reggia is one of the most luxurious monuments we have in Italy.You will then head to Cassino and visit the Abbey founded by Saint Benedict in 529.






Let us lead you as far as the mountain side of Vesuvius, the portentous volcano that is still active today and that in the past swept away Ercolano and Pompei. You can get as far as 1000 metres by bus but have to walk accompanied by a guide to reach the crater.
You will never come across a more fascinating archaeological site than Pompei. Walking along the ancient Roman roads that were wiped away by the eruption of Vesuvius in 70 bc, you will admire the frescos of the villas that belonged to nobility and the gardens that remind us of a wonderful past. After a walk around the city to admire the Maschio Angioino, Galleria Umberto I, Teatro San Carlo, Palazzo Reale and Piazza Plebiscito, you will be free to go shopping. We will then take you on a guided tour to the National Museum and on a panoramic bus ride to visit S. Lucia, Mergellina, Posillipo and Marechiaro, with its wonderful view of the Gulf of Naples.
One of the best excursions here at the Sorrento Peninsula is to Positano and Amalfi. While travelling down the coast you will visit the Isole Galli and stop off for a swim in their crystal clear waters. You will also visit Grotta dello Smeraldo di Conca de’ Marini and its huge stalactites and stalagmites. The light that reflects through the cavities creates an intense green reflection on the water that makes the cave look enchanted.

Discover the Sentiero degli Dei (the path of the Gods), that connects Bomerano to Nocella and enjoy the beautiful view of Capri. You will also get to admire an unforgettable scenario from Monte Comune and Monte Vico Albano. You definitely can’t miss a trip to the Fortini Borbonici (Bourbon blockhouses), a swim in the Grotta Azzurra and a trip to faro di Punta Carena.
Massa Lubrense treasures many wonders that are all to be discovered. There are 22 paths you can walk along having the chance to admire archaeological ruins, the beautiful panorama and ancient towers built to defend the coast. Baia di Ieranto is definitely one of the most beautiful areas to visit and it is a protected part of Punta Campanella, that you can only reach on foot. It is the perfect place to admire the Faraglioni in Capri and according to an ancient tradition, it is a mermaid shelter.
From the Gulf of Sorrento, you will take a 50 minutes jetfoil ride to Ischia. Once you arrive on the volcanic island, you may admire the view of Baia di Citara from Belvedere, while tasting some local products. After a trip to the typical village of Sant’Angelo, you will then stop off at the Giardini Termali (spa gardens) where you can relax in a warm pool, have a sauna or walk around famous Lady Walton’s “La Mortella” Gardens, created by the wife of the English musician William Walton during her stay on the island from 1949. You can take a stroll down the little white streets of Amalfi and visit the nineteenth century cathedral that has a mosaic facade and big front steps. You can then visit the arsenals, where the galleys of the maritime republics were built and then head to Ravello and visit its wonderful monuments, like the cathedral dedicated to Pantaleone and Villa Rufolo, that inspired Wagner for the Parsifal. You will then head back to Sorrento in the evening.
